AI is changing school and work. We help young people understand it, use it safely and well, and build real things with it, starting with confident everyday computer skills. Small groups, DBS-checked tutors, and a laptop for everyone.

Two groups
Children learn with others their own age in groups of up to 12, and every topic builds towards a project they can be proud of.

The computer and AI skills employers and colleges now expect, including how to build real things with AI as a coding partner.
How it works
Takes two minutes. Tell us about your child and when they could come.
Once the venue and timetable are confirmed, we contact you to offer a place.
A short form for emergency contacts, medical information and photo consent.
Your child joins their group and starts building real projects.
Every tutor and volunteer holds an enhanced DBS check. Sessions follow a written safeguarding policy, children are only collected by the adults you name, and photos are never taken without your written consent.
Read our safeguarding policyOur session laptops are refurbished by Innovate Prime Renew, which collects unwanted IT from businesses, wipes it securely and gives it a second life. Teens even learn to repair them.

Nothing. The Academy is free for every child. It's a community programme funded by Innovate Prime Ltd, and we provide the laptops.
Mainly computer skills and AI: confident everyday use of a computer, how AI works, how to use AI tools safely and well, and how to spot when AI is wrong or a picture is fake. Teens also learn to build websites and small apps with AI as a coding partner, and how to repair a laptop.
It can be, with the right guidance, which is why we teach it. Juniors (8–12) don't have their own AI accounts: most AI tools set a minimum age of 13 or older, so a tutor leads and supervises every AI activity. Teens (13–17) only use tools whose terms allow their age, under supervision, and we ask for your consent where a tool requires it. Children never put personal information into AI tools.
We teach the opposite: using AI to understand and learn, checking what it says, and being honest about when it was used. Schools increasingly expect students to use AI responsibly, and that's a skill we build.
Young people aged 8 to 17, in two groups: Juniors (8–12) and Teens (13–17). Each group has its own content, pitched at the right level.
